Overview Details Related Shillingstone Lane, Dorset Okeford Fitzpaine, Dorset BrightSpace were appointed to bring this redundant brownfield site back into use, remove the negative impacts associated with the derelict industrial buildings, and create a future for this site which is viable, sustainable and benefits the community of Okeford Fitzpaine and Shillingstone. 3 options were assessed; redevelopment of the site for employment, redevelopment for residential including starter homes, and the preferred option of redevelopment with a mix of employment and residential including starter homes, affordable homes and family houses. This third option was worked up to provide a strategic framework for development, showing a mixed-use development, creating space tailored to smaller businesses, provision of starter homes for first time buyers, bungalows and larger family housing to ensure diversity. The scheme will incorporate amenity space, retention of existing trees and hedgerows and enhancements to pedestrian infrastructure. He has worked across many sectors at all work stages, with a particular expertise in residential led mixed-use urban projects and residential masterplanning. As part of his studies he specialised in Urban Design.Since joining us in 2014, Jonathan has worked on several mixed-use schemes in Bournemouth and Southampton and been involved in many challenging planning applications with a complex assembly of uses and highly constrained sites. He enjoys being involved in the early stages of concept design and likes to see projects organically evolve through to completion.
