At the site entrance, a striking proposal for 82 studio and 1 bedroom apartments has potential for use as a contemporary Live-Work facility.The Live- Work block benefits from a range of shared community facilities including a gym, café, lounge and west facing roof terrace, providing homes for a rising population of young professionals in the town centre.The proposal carefully considers connectivity to the wider road networks, establishing a 1-way traffic system with pedestrian and cycle priority areas. Landscape and enhancement of the existing parkland are key features for the design, generating varied public spaces to connect the civic centre, public realm and private resident gardens.
