The Benefits of a Design Charrette

This week we hosted an open office design charrette, involving Architectural Assistants, Technologists, Architects and Directors. A design charrette offers and opportunity for the team to get together to review current or speculative projects and to test new and innovative concept ideas.  We often make time at key milestones in a project to pause and take stock of ideas, checking in with our colleagues’ to make the most of the wide range of experience, design approaches and skills that we bring to our team.

We find that a fresh pair of eyes is often the secret ingredient that pushes a design from a simple scribble to an exciting and promising concept! When we bring the whole team together, we generate new conversations and share ideas that strengthen our design proposals and elevate the final outcome of our projects.
