Blue Boar Row Receives Planning Approval!

BrightSPACE Architects are really pleased to announce the planning approval of a new residential development for our clients, FiveM.  

In the heart of Salisbury and overlooking the city’s central market square, the sensitive site, extending between Blue Boar Row on the Square and Chipper Lane to the north, is surrounded by listed buildings and straddles the city’s historic core and Market Place and Mitre Chequer Conservation Areas.  

Our design addresses the need to sensitively convert an historic existing building and creates a new mews-style development of townhouses with a parking-access courtyard in the rear land.  The development will provide studios, apartments, townhouses, and an upgraded commercial-retail unit.   

Despite the site’s relatively constricted city-centre location, our design will create light and airy living spaces, with reception rooms on the uppermost floor levels, with the majority of dwellings having access to outdoor terraces or balconies. The new townhouses will also have the benefit of having their own secure integral garages.
