Planning Approval for Wessex Park Homes

BrightSPACE are pleased that our proposed designs for 47 new houses at the Wessex Park Homes site in Okeford Fitzpaine, Dorset, have received outline planning consent subject to agreement of the s106.

The current site is an unused, industrial estate which is within walking distance of both Okeford Fitzpaine and Shillingstone village centres. The proposed scheme aims to provide a total of 47 houses, all of which comply with or exceed the Nationally Described Space Standards, following the demolition of the existing industrial buildings. The scheme looks to provide a more rural residential setting with placemaking at the heart of the proposals using a variety of distinctive character areas, including farm-like courtyards, a village green,  residential streets and a crescent around a village pond.
