Recommendation for approval received for Broadmayne

BrightSPACE are excited to announce that our proposed design for Broadmayne has received recommendation for approval.

The village of Broadmayne is not far from the county town of Dorchester and our objective is to positively contribute to the character of the village and its surroundings. The scheme is for up to 80 residential dwellings together with public open space and allotments.  The proposed housing types are a maximum of 2 storeys in height to provide a consistent relationship with the surrounding context. Proposals also include improved control of surface water in the immediate vicinity to help reduce the risk of local flooding and improvements to highways and footways leading to the site. 

A separate planning application has been made for the change of use of adjacent agricultural land to provide Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) providing dedicated green infrastructure for the village and its occupants.
